This website is free to read. Our telephone information line is free to call. We do not charge you for anything, and we do not accept payments from you.

6. Booking direct is always an option
You never need us, or anyone we might connect you to, in order to travel by train. Every carrier we write about sells directly to the public through its own website, telephone line and stations, and doing so is often the most straightforward route.

We do not currently sell display advertising on this website, and no third party pays to have their service featured, ranked or recommended within our editorial content.
